SSL / TLS Certificate Validation Print

When you order a TLS / SSL certificate, your ownership of the domain name will be validated via an email sent to one of the following addresses:
  • admin@yourdomain.com
  • administrator@yourdomain.com
  • hostmaster@yourdomain.com
  • webmaster@yourdomain.com
  • postmaster@yourdomain.com
In the case of many generic domains - COM, NET, ORG, for example - you may also be allowed to use an email address that appears in the WHOIS data for the domain name, but this is not possible for IE domain names.

When you receive the email you can simple forward it to us for validation, or you can of course follow the instructions in the email to validate yourself. The process will then move to the next step, which is issuance in the case of a domain-validated cert, or organisation validation in other cases.
