Pseudo Accounts in Outlook 2007 Print

If you’d like to retain your current email address and use it in conjunction with a hosted email address, Microsoft Outlook can be configured with a “pseudo account”.

1. Open Outlook.
2. Click on Tools, then Account Settings.
3. Click New.
4. Click Next.
   
5. Check Manually configure servers settings or additional server types.
6. Click Next.
7. Click Next.
8. Enter your name and the pseudo email address you wish to use.
9. Enter the POP3 and SMTP servers provided by your ISP for your current email address.
10. Enter the username and password for your current email address.
11. Click Next.
12. Click Finish.
